Graphite Pencil on Grey paper
This is my graphite drawing. I drew a closeup of a girl who has black wet hair in front of her face. I decided to draw her because i thought it would be interesting to play around with the white parts of the drawing and make it look like her face and hair was wet. Drawing this was a really fun challenge and i like that you at the end have a really cool art work.
While i drew this i was really doubting whether or not this would turn out nicely but i really think it did. If you stand further away and look at it it really looks nice. I like how i did a value 10 on all of her hair because it frames her face nicely and makes you focus on her face. The hardest part was using the white pencil to create those highlights so if i do this again i will try to focus on making those highlights even lighter.
